this is a computer/connection related issue, wich has been proven by some people that NEVER DC because of the nova's. that makes it kinda obvious that its not a server related issue. anyway flegy is a getting a new dedi server wich is 5 times faster then the current one. but i can prommise you, the people that DC's now, will still DC in the faster server. cause it won't make any difference for your computer.

to flegy, mine is currently way better then i told you last time

i update my hardware everytime something new comes out. so i got the newest from the newest / best of the best =D

lol? i have a 15mb internet 6gb ram and geforce 9200
and i noticed one thing:
1st->i just dc when im on my rogue, (i think that its the light feet,*cuz every time that i dc im using it*)
2nd->i dont dc when im on my warrior or priest, why? they dont walk fastah then a rogue.

I dont think it has to do anything with ur PC (can cause some lag maybe).

The DC rather seems to come from a "loose connection" ...it depends how far u are from the server.

Today in war we had some real bad lag spikes that DCed like 50% of the people from war.
Twice my whole Party DC. This cant be Client side !!!

Because I usually dont DC that much while Im sittin in Moradon watchin the guards pass by :mrgreen:

I'm online pretty often, but not on "Darwish"

and like you said, you only DC while your in action. nothing changes with the connection if you sit in moradon or when you are in a "heavy" pk environment. the only thing that changes is your computer memory use. since mages use a lot of nova's your computer has to load a lot of data/memory. and if your PC cannot hold it, it will disconnect you to prevent your PC from crashing.

and i cannot deny that the server doesn't lag sometimes. ofcourse it does. we're not a proffesional company like Blizzard entertainment or something. altough their servers lag aswell sometimes. and it also has something to do with your distance from the server. if your using a 10mbit or less connection and your pretty far away from the server you might have a little more lag then when you are right next to the server (like me)

Interet card or what ever the modem is.
When ur sitting place of nowhere, there's a small amout bytes come'ing to ur pc and going out to the server, so ofc u dont lagg.
But in heavy pk, everysingle thing u can see on screen are packets for ur modem for ur pc, if the ping cannot be 100% wihtout lose'ing them in way from germany dedi to you--> u dc.

Like ur pc handles, ur running in bowl u do /town, pc didn't recive the packets from server dedi due lost somehwere

, ur pc doesn't see what u did and lags or smth, and dc.

My theory, it's nothing to do with pc or mb/s its about your ping.

I have a relatively low ping, about 20-30, if you have a high ping, which most people from Turkey would, shizloads of novas and whatnot it can't send data back/fourth fast enough.
