hmm, I worry why you guys nerfed the mage staff attack..? I'm spamming like... 700 damage on warrior now. wtf?
All classes were already raping mages in VS, and you come nerf them even more, may we know why..?
You nerfing mages, but you never nerfed rogues. nah, your still boosting them, I'm mage. got 13k hp, using dread shield (suposed to be best shield against sin), sins still hit me for 1.7k without armor cancelation and CP.

I can accept sins, but stop boosting damn rogues and nerfing mages... When there a rogue party in cz, no matter what type of rogue, their ruling cz. Yeah, you made mage novas hit harder, but why nerfing their staff attack..? Titan don't even have working skills like Vampiric fire and Fire armor...

I don't want to make the class im playing op, I just want to make stuff balanced.. If I'd really want mages to be op, I would spam to make their staff skill equal to what they are on other server(witch would mean minimum... 1.4-1.6k per staff skill...)

You havent figured it out yet? Most of management and their cronies play SINs, so why would they nerf themselves?

Of course they will deny this statement, but if you look at the rankings, you will see it is dominated by SINS. Why? Cause its the most OP class on the server, and is usually true on every other private server.

Get used to it, adapt and overcome, cause it sure as hell wont change!

Finally someone who's not scared of stating the true facts... I thaught most players would come bash me on that post because their playing sin.

I also thaught about that. I been playing KOPS for quite a while now. Only PS I've see sins were not OP, was HRKO, witch is now down, and the one that made sin were Manhattan, witch is a GG sin himself. Sin should be a hard class to play... Now anybody can play sin easily... I managed to kill warriors and mages after 25 minutes of practice as a sin, and I consider myself as being a bad sin...

1 more point. sin should be quite easily tankable when someone is full geared, but looks like GMs don't care about it, sins hitting me like if I had no gear... But i'm full geared... kahless, csw, FN, rovs, sse, and they still hit me for 2-3.8k on their 4 first hits...

Maybe they reduced it to much..I dont want to judge this and I cant since Im not playing KO anymore.

But...

I want to point out a few obvious things:

1. @ Rat. Most of the staff members dont play Sin class!

2. Sins always have high ranks cause of NP drains on Monus etc... so that seems normal to me. Its like that on any server.

3. when I last logged the server (I sometimes do just to walk through cz)...there was lots of mage partys and Priests complained, that they get killed by them in no time. Dont just look at the damage - also count in the slow and stun and the agility of a well tping Mage Party!

I know about that, ahah. I got couple years of experience on mage in my pocket. I do agree on the fact that mages arnt suposed to be able to vs, not only warrior, but every classes. But at some point, normally 2 mages should be able to kill a single warrior quickly, but when spamming like 700 damage... quite anoying... and so far, with the experience I have, normally, staff skill is supose to hit harder then manes of fire :/


And so far, about the fact that there are many mages and that priest get rekd quickly, thats nothing lol. any party of a single class can rape priest in half a second, but indeed, mages are being hated from priest cause the resist is kind of bugged.

I agree, mostly.

First, it's not that sins are op but "over-able".

They can:
-run faster then other class
-become invisible to other class
-heal themself
-heal themself while running faster then other class
-cure themself
-use sheild and still atack with high dmg
-minor each other in party and outside of party
-impact high dmg and drain 10% out of anything ...

and all this things give a bitt of unfair advence to sin class and cause of that most of people use it. And that's fault of programers who created KO game.
And ofcorse, MaxKO team doesn't use sins as their pk class; Example 1: me.
About ranking, it's easist to collect nps with sin. Just go around and drain everything that drops nps and wait for events and viola.

But, to make story short, I was about to talk to Flegy and other staff mumbers about this problem and I am glad that there are more players that have same opinion as me , that rogue class is stronger then any other fight class.
We will discuss about this problem and see what is the best solution & bring PK balance back.

There are those who are too blind to see the forest because of the trees blocking it.

Sins have a high rank as they can duff - n- stun the shit out of you , then kill you in 3 hits. Put on a shield and kill you in 4 hits, and light feet out fast. Some faster than others.

Sins can kill more and die LESS becasue of their skill set. A Sins can hold a Hero Dagger 188 ap, AND a pholus and do serious damage to a warrior. Why CANT a mage be allowed to hold a CHaos Staff 170ap witha shield? Its should be allowed, but the advantage is ALWAYS to the Sin.

Why doesnt the pholus have DD?

This Sin discussion is like beating a dead horse. PPL will beleive what they want, but if you do the research, you will find SINS have the MOST advantage than anyother class. I dont even want to get into the awesome DEF of an int priest, or why the Prayer of God book last 10 minutes, while WOlf last a minute and a mages MP boost last like 1.5 minutes

Pretty sure only one of the staff members plays sin and its necrophile and he's bad so it doesn't matter haha I don't play here anymore but I agree the mage class is a very delicate class to tamper with. Give them a little bit of damage, people abuse it and other players complain, nerf them a bit an the people playing mage throw a fit. it's a very hard balance to find so I wouldn't blame staff just yet.
