Windows xp, if it's just for gaming and you can do without the perks of Win7 Aero etc, it's one of the best for performance and stability.

If it's a computer used for many things, it really depends, do you want looks/functionality over performance or do you just want raw performance.

Personally I'm using windows 7 because it's not just for gaming, that's my 2 cents :)

50% lol

i had an computer with windows XP with 1 gb ram and a shitty video card and ko used to run perfectly, but then i bought other computer and he came with windows 7 and a video card GeForce 7200 and 4 gb ram and it was lagging -_-

windows 7 sucks for games, better use windows XP for it

Knight online is an old game, with an old engine so it really doesn't take much to run, if your computer has good specs you can get away with running windows 7, if you have 4 gig of ram (windows xp will use 150-200, windows 7 will use 230-400 [something like this]) which will leave you with over 3 gig on either windows, which is more than enough to run KO.

It's when you start playing games, using internet, msn, frapsing etc all at the same time, then windows 7 will start to slow down, and windows xp will take the lead

edit: Post your specs if you know them, that would help.
