Mages loses approx 2k hp already with the int set, with higher requirements the diff would be even more. Regardless of the def, with HP below ~9k you wouldn't rly be able to tank especially with other mages around.
Anyway, the stat requirements of int armors could be tweaked by Flegy i guess to make it available having more hp with it, however the main problem is:
-Such a nova dmgs would destroy the server again. DMGs were like that plenty of times during the past 5 years. And regardless of their def, it ended up in 80-90% of the server becoming mages every single time. There is simply nothing to do when clans // random parties gangs up and 30-40 mages drops novas everywhere around them, with 4 novas each they were basicly spamming novas w/o moving for 10-15 mins straight sometimes and u could barely move due to contans slows / stuns / high dmgs.
Also CSWs, atm you so-so have a chance of surviving the intense nova waves with gg setups / smart moves, etc (pretty hard since light spell cancel heals like a bitch), with 40-50% higher dmgs you'd have NO way to compete against the mage parties there.
Long story short most of the active ppl here is np whore and love to gang up with other parties. (As mentioned above regarding mages /// u can check cz anytime, they rather wait at town for 30 mins to get 2-3 parties moving together than going out alone) Considering that, with such a nova dmgs the game would end up being unplayable sooner or later again so i gotta disagree with the suggestion, sorry.
Hmm, there is surely something to do. because both, INT mage and MP mage are the same shit to me. less def more hp with MP, more def less hp with INT. Your suposed to be way more tanky with int hero armor set and your supose to hit way harder using the MP hero set. And what about making the novas have a longer cooldown? And I'm not talking about making novas hit 2k. im talking about 200-300 more damage. thats nothing. and by reducing paper hero armor set AC, sins could just pop up and rape paper mages fast if players dont know how to kill mages party, its because they suck. I was a warrior here before, and i were tanking 2 party of freedoom with 1 priest. just use jewels to have elements resist and its super easy.
And so far, I've been playing for a little while too. There was a time novas were hiting higher. But I don't remember paper hero and valk set to be ever nerfed. And I'm pretty sure peaple would not mind highering novas damage if paper would die quickly. Since I personally a lot of peaple were complaining due to them having to much ac. close fight between paper mages and all other class should not even exist, exept if their really good and that they aim very good.
About Int mages, heres a quick suggestion. make it 175 int 100 hp req tu wear the parts. remove the 10 int bonus on parts and change it for 24 health per parts. plus may I know why bloody shield is for priest only..? being a support mage, I would sincerly like to be able tu use same shield then priest to be able to survive a lot better then with a pholus/tier/chitin shield.
