I recently downloaded and fully patched the game. i logged in, chreated a charecter. when the game starts loading it gets through loading charected data and then is stuck at loading data 1 at 1%. i hear the christmas music come on but the progress never goes up even after 10 minuts of sitting there. is there a patch i may have missed or something that needs tweeked to get me past this? any help would be apreciated

It happened to me either, but as for me, the only solution for this one is relogging back as usual.

try debug ur acc maybe its gonna work if still happened re-install the client.

My friend have the same problem as you and I spend 4 hours to fix it but at end i find its problem in internet connection,because he is too slow and connection time expired. ! time we get in but other 30 time he stuck.

You need try speed up you connection.
