Hey,
The server was down a day or two ago and since then i've not been able to launch maxKO. When i open the launcher it says:"Checking version and preparing to launch game." followed by "Login server connection failed! Please restart."
And this keeps on happening, even when i use administrative functions.
Any help please?

try this:

right click maxko.exe and go to open file location.
click on server.ini

and where it says ip0= ..
change it to ip0=login.maxko.org

it worked for me.

Okay I tried that but it didn't work. The server.ini already has IP0=login.maxko.org, and even when i change it to exactly what u said, acces is denied and cant save. and dno how to open a file like that as administrator.

Can you change your server file with this one ?

Then start launcher and let it update your client.

Did that too. Didn't work. Come on ppl, i haven't been able to play for a week - -

I STILL have the SAME PROBLEM!!!
It is still EXACTLY the same, only that now it's on the old launcher, as someone advised me to reinstall the game, which of course, like everything else, didn't work.

go to start menu and type in cmd in the bar

click enter..

type in the cmd

ping login.maxko.org

tell us if it gives you any results or if an error.

It sent 4 packets and received 4. Not giving any errors.

alright, so your connecting to the login server properly. please take a screen shot of the launcher just so we can see.

makes it a lot easier.

I tried but it won't let me. pics are too big, and can't rlly make em smaller without making it unreadable... :s
