Some of the graphic cards are different than the ones godric posted in this topic.

So theres an easy way too for the people who have black side bars, to make the game fit your screen resolution follow the steps below :

1 - Open MaxKO folder and open Option.ini.

2 - Under [ViewPort] theres Width and Height edit them and put your screen resolution and save.

3 - Login game. ( you might lag so badly at the begin but then it will work fine )

For example , My screen resolution is 1366 x 768 :



How to know your screen resolution :

In windows 7 :
Open Start > Control panel > Display > Adjust resolution.
Another easy way : Right click on desktop > Screen resolution, then you'll see your resolution.

In windows xp :
First and easiest method : Right click on desktop > Properties > Settings tab, check your resolution.

Second method : Open Start > Control Panel > Display > Settings tab, check your resolution.

In windows vista :
Open start > Control panel > Appearance and Personalization / Display > Adjust resolution.

If it can work with my resolution (1440*900 I think) that will be nice because rescalling at each login and quit game is annoying!

thanks for the tip and will tell you if it works for me too or not.

Edit : it works fine for me and allow me to skip rescaling steps when lauching and quiting game.

i keep trying to change my screen ress and it said acess denied any ideas?

I guess it gives you that message when you want to save the files in maxko folder and so i guess you are running windows 7.
Saves the options files on another folder then copy.paste the saved file in maxko folder. You will be asked to confirm your move and then should be ok (if you have administrators right).

Also be sure to run everything with administrator privileges (if you have them) when trying to change your resolution, if you don't have admin privileges on your computer then your kind of tough out of luck on changing it this way.
