Hey there.
Just downloaded the client and updated to 1601. Login just fine but when I try to join the server itself I get told I am running an outdated client. Checked my client version and its 1601, latest patch you guys have listed on the forum is 1601.

Any ideas?

run through exe not from launcher

also perhaps trying running in administrator mode using the .exe and not the launcher like Kasu said.

Ok so i have run it from all 3 and ran them in admin. I can log in fine but it's when i click the server and connect that I get the outdated client message.

I also get this error prior to logging in :

C:\Program Files (x86)\MaxKO\Item|test.dxt is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support.

Not sure if this helps in any way.

Bad idea, never launch from exe. Always use launcher

@Mulletron: Try to repatch your client (Change client version to 1598) restart launcher and it should be fixed. (This problem has been reported more often, and this was a succesfull operation).
About test.dxt, if you think this is causing the problem. Delete test.dxt, if the problem still consists, reinstall the client with elevated writing rights (adming rights)
