Can't log the game

Post subject:  Can't log the game
I'm not able to start the launcher anymore. When I click it nothing happens.
When I start the game (without launcher) an error occurs at loading screen.

The error is something like:

The instruction on 0x00560749 links to memory on 0x19313000. A
read- or write execution on the memory has failed: written.

Can anybody help me? I already tried to start in compability mode for older versions of windows, but doesn't help.

look, maybe the main cause behind it lies to the highly enhanced security features of .NET framework 2.0 over .NET 1.1 i'd suggest that you maybe try to revise your concepts about CAS and permissions in visual studio.NET 2005 which is highly advanced than .NET 1.1 :arrow: but did you try to use Microsoft driver for OLE (MSDAORA) ? in addition Microsoft also released a hotfix...
The hotfix can be downloaded from http://connect.microsoft.com/VisualStud ... oadID=6003
as well as try these steps maybe it help if possible
1 :arrow:Right click My Computer and click Properties
2 :arrow: Click the Advanced tab
3 :arrow:Click the Settings button in the Performance section
4 :arrow: Make sure the radio button labeled “Turn on DEP for all processes and services
5 :arrow:Click Add at the bottom of the list
6 :arrow: Browse to the executale that they are going to run and select it
7 :arrow:Make sure the checkbox next to the executables name in the list is selected and click OK
if it doesn't success, i'll forward someone has a higher knowledge than me.

First of all I don't understand a thing about what you are saying regarding the .NET framework etc. :D
Second, the link you provided doesn't open. And since I'm on a MacBook (with Windows on Bootcamp) at the moment I don't have any reasons to update my drivers.

Third, I tried your steps but it didn't help.

This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt " exception"
did you try to run it with administrator nd use max.exe ?

I always run with administrator.
When I start launcher it doesn't come up. When I run max.exe I get the error as explained above.

follow this steps :arrow:
1. Right click on the program icon you are having issue with and then click on properties.

2. Click on the compatibility tab.

3. Under "Compatibility mode", select the check box which reads as "Run the program in compatibility mode for" and in the drop down menu select Windows Vista or XP/7/8 to run the program in older version of operating system.

4. Click on Apply and then Ok.

I have been really busy in real life lately so I have not been able to look into my problem yet. Can this topic stay alive for a bid? I will try to fix my problem tomorrow and keep you guys up to date here.

I will try to post a list of my updates as soon as possible, but I think it's the same as SirBenJen mentioned.
