I already know some players might not like me regarding that suggestion, but i'll still give it a go.

Current mages party are only lightning mages. Witch is supose to be 1 lightning mage and 6 fire mages, not the opposite. So here's my suggestion to change that.

Current mage HP : 11k with int armor... 13k with MP armor

1. Remove all flame resistance from all items mages wear at most... Chaos staff, Hero staff, Magimas and rovs(not sure about rovs, still thinking about it)
I did a test regarding that. Tests i did : Mages would have 167 flame resistance, and the average flame novas damage on mages would be near 1450-1650, witch i believe is not enought for the current mage HP cap.
However, 7 flame mages are supose to 1 hit any mage party if they all hit simultaneously witch is not the case (currently goes from 10150 -> 11550). So that is why my #2 point comes, witch is the part im sure some players would not like to see happen.

2. Boost mage flame damage by 20~30%. So with all those changes, a 7 flame mage party would hit from 12180 -> 15000, depending on the % boost.

The good point of that, is that due to not nerfing the flame resistance on other classes, mainly the mages would get the boost fighting other mage party, witch would be showing more skills between the fights.

3. I just came with the idea if the #1 point would be made. Add in the defence ability choose on the rings, a flame resist on them, could be the actual 50 flame resistance that each rings currently have, so support mages would not have deficite against the flame mages if they pick that defence ability.

Reply, complaint, +1s... I wanna hear your opinions, I just think that current flame mages are quite useless, even the mage party arn't using flame novas because they don't even worth using.

u know i use to agree with u, but this time i gotta say im not ok with this, not all players play in partys with 2 priests, this changes will make almost impossible to tank a mage party with a solo priest, or even scape from em if them surprise u when soloing for example

Indeed, I won't lie about the fact that i'm not totally agreeing on the #2 point, since mages already have way more AC then what their supose to. but what about the #1 point? #1 would affect only mages, witch is why i believe it would be a good thing.

I appreciated your suggestions and game concern but in my own opinion, Every party mage is playing with their own style, depends on how they are playing,moreover,Mage's damage is awesome related to light/flame and i had considered that Damage of light ranges between 1100-1200-1350 like that but on the other hand,Flame damage is perfect enough to kill a party mage in few sec's From 2nd Hiting,since Flame damage is ranges between 1300-1450-1500" and over than you think but it wasnt a constant damage.....so Only base MP affects the damage you do in PVP. MP + base MP is worthless, if you can have 255MP + 15...or 255 + 138 wearing all MP armor and accessories, and your damage in the CZ in PVP is the same,The developers of KO knew this,and it would make the game very unbalanced if they allowed bonus MP to inflict damage in PVP as well like you said Boost mage flame damage by 20~30% it would be over nd unbalance since the MP is so high with MP armor, but if mages would get the boost fighting against other mage party, it would be good but it gonna be unbalanced too, sometimes you need to show alot of skills used by others,if they are going to use the same style of Fire Mage, so what is the point now ! what is the difference between these changes From Light party to Flame Party! i'd say that all is depending on the damage nd if it gona be by high boost a bit since the Flame is fine, i'd love to say that "you can start by using flame nova since it's better than light right now, But mage char depends on a person who know how to play with light/flame.....Let's say it would be like a traditional style like other servers, so that in every fight in lost zones sometimes you would get damage boost so you can hit higher,so if we boost gone be 20-30% the result gonna be unbalance...

Mage char is always like that :arrow: Flame: High dmg
Lightning : Medium dmg : Stuns (low chance)
Glacier : Low dmg : Slows (higher chance)
Generaly speaking a flame mage will be a part of a mage party to "Nova Town" which is hard to do now in CZwith the tower dmg increase,in order to do the most damage you need a staff with the highest attack power and flame dmg and Flame rings (the highest you can afford) since only magic power (MP) from base stats will improve your dmg, it can be great, If you do, you would need great accesories to compensate for your lack of Defence so that enemy has Fire Resistance, therefore Mage char needs as much attack... you could check that C staff is having 37 risistance to flame beside Rovs are having 50 too
so, to know the resistances are a bit tricky to get your head around :D

just an explanasion about your suggestion, beside i'll forward that Topic to Staff to see a lot of opinions..nd we will see what we can do.

pshh, now MP bonus from accessories/armors affect damage in cz on usko :P been made like that for about 50 patches.

we are all know is MP bonus from accessories/armors affect damage no thing new atm,So mage is fine at the moments :)
