I see your chat on yesterday shoutbox and I want to reply,
since more people might wonder about that.

Two reasons.
1. we have some reduced spear def on medal of puzzle
and also on shields. To make warrior duals hit more correct!
Cause warrior duals show high AP but hit low due to the high Spear and Sword wep defense - wep def on duals counts twice!

So thats why I reduced spear def a lil in game.
And thats a reason why Spear hits very good vs Priests with TShield or CS.

2. CSpear got 20 more elemental dmg than TSword.

Here is some values from a dmg test (before the new patch):
We did this test more than once!

Damage on Priest with TShield and TMace 10 hits
6943 CSpear
6605 yellow TSword
5477 TSpear+Hanguk

Damage on Priest with no shield no Mace 10 hits
10000 CSpear
9777 yellow TSord
9725 TSpear+Hanguk

You see that duals suffer a lot from wep def (with shield).
And you see that CSpear hit more dmg than yellow TSword.

This should be more balanced now after patch 1740.

Duals will still hit low vs shield - so people should not use them vs int Priests!
For the rest these different weapons work fine and can be switched situational!

Also keep in mind, that CSpear has a bigger range than TSword and more HP Bonus!
To fully balance TSword with 2h CSpear...it prolly should be 254-255AP on the Spear...but I didnt want to change it to much, since people dont like to see their fav weapon nerfed ;)

From all my tests I can say, that flame doesnt hit higher than light or ice!
This is a myth that probably comes from the Mage skills!
There is no difference in the basic damage of an element.
It just depends on the resist that people got.

I will further test and adjust those things (when I got more time...atm I cant)

Hey Anduin well about the elemental dmg, the element fire is bigger that the anothers class, im sure of that coz im a old GM in anothers PS and i test this long time ago with the owners of them just i dont remember the exactly difference of the dmg between them or problably here is different coz is a very old client idk, if u can made 3 weapons esactly just change elemental dmg u can see my point, remember test this in mobs and users.

In USKO and another PS the HB+10 have 229 ap, flame dmg 185, int 30 and 1.50 of range and the Exceptional Raptor+10 have 237 ap, 100 poison dmg and 2.00 of range, in vs between warriors the HB+10 always is better how u can explain that? with Exceptional Heppa Raptor+10 is another history is more balance the vs beetween warriors coz have 242 ap, 100 poison dmg and 2.00 of range, for this reason i made this test long time ago and im sure about the elemental fire is better that the others

Thats what I did. And there wasnt a difference! (with equal resist)
But ofc we can test that again...since it was also a long time ago ;)

Many people prefer HB cause of its attack speed.
I think on some Servers HB is "normal" on maxko its "slow".
Raptor is "very slow"

And in a vs (where you land a lot of hits + r hits...) the 85 more elemental dmg count quite a lot. The 8 AP difference can not compensate that!

Sure i can test with u when u want.
About the attack speed i forgot that but that depend of your combo.
About the 8 ap difference i think that is the client then coz i test with the last client in this time i talk around 4 or 5 years.
About the GM job damn i have to use the gender change sc on me :shock:
