Hey MaxKO! I am trying out your private server because out of some of the popular servers you seem to have the most active players. I'm currently downloading the client and am coming from the USKO servers.

I used to play the game for a while and quit a long time ago. I tried the game out again when they opened their 2 new servers but to my surprise all the reasons I left previously have not resolved. I'm hoping for a better experience with the game and plan on being an active PK player in the game. I haven't made my in game character yet and plan on playing Karus. Please reply here if you have an English clan that is looking for an arising PVP player to join your ranks.

Another thing. Since I haven't played in awhile I don't remember all the tell tell signs of hacks on the server. Please post any advice on how to detect people in the party that are using hacks. Last thing I want is to group with someone using a hack and getting myself banned because I was partied with someone using illegal software.

First , welcome to MaxKO. The best private KO server. ;)

There are several clan on server, always open for new players, but only if you're good. But, they also wanna of you to be fully geared (no 100%, but with good items), so you would rather like to go into semi-clan ,and start there.
If you get items fast, and you show your skills, there will be clan looking for you. :)

About hack, dont worry. 99.5 % of hack are being detected and hackers being banned, so, gameplay are good. There could be some pedalers, but it is not something that you should worry about, cause, most of them are noobs. ;)

You can find on forum many tutorials about MaxKO, we have active staff, PUS system ofc, easy lvl-up, events all day, special GM events and more; also, most of players are friendly, so you're gonna have good time here. :)

Are semi-clans the same as sub-clans?

Well, and yes and no.

In very good clans, sub-clans are also geared and PK clans.
But, there are some few clans, where their sub-clans allow not so geared ppls in it, but I think that better solution is to go with some semi (lower clan, with no PK intentions, just EXP/FARM) and after that to seek some place in better clans. ;)

Any suggestions? I'm kinda stuck because I can't solo to get better gear and lvls.

u can get better gears by voting using ur id on panel...
