Ok. so first of all your going to need a few things to do this 1. GIMP - http://www.gimp.org/downloads/ 2. A picture that you wish to make your symbol [has to have a white background] google images works awesomely for that Ok. so after you have those 2 things you want to open up gimp and open your image- File>Open> Then find your picture and press open like the picture below http://i358.photobuc...3zakery/pc1.jpg Now we're gonna want to right click on the picture then Layer>Transparency>Add alpha channel. if for some devine reason your picture already has an alpha channel remove it then re add it http://i358.photobuc...3zakery/pc2.jpg Next we're gonna select the fuzzy select tool [aka magic wand for ps users] and select the white back ground like this http://i358.photobuc...3zakery/pc3.jpg Then hit "delete" on your keyboard and it should look like this after you have done that http://i358.photobuc...3zakery/pc4.jpg Now we have to scale it down to 32x32 [symbol size] to do this go to Image>Scale image- and make it 32 by 32 "PIXELS" make sure the little chains next to it aren't connected or it will **** up the scale http://i358.photobuc...3zakery/pc5.jpg Alright now we got to save it as a .tga file File>Save as. name it "whatever.tga" w/o quotes.. and make sure you have .tga selected in the browse box below http://i358.photobuc...3zakery/pc6.jpg after you have saved it to wherever, rename it to symbol.bmp Then go wherever your Maxko folder is and find "symbol_us" folder.. open it and put symbol.bmp inside if it asks to overwrite say yes http://i358.photobuc...3zakery/pc8.jpg Enjoy. |

just follow his steps and you will be fine. the pics just show you what the steps are telling you to do |
