If the election is always like this, then there is no need for a king, and no need for an election at all.

Well, you'll just have to deal with it.
Same thing happened last month where ByZorba won with one vote over LordMoches who had three votes.

They said they will fix it but there's still no update about it, so I think it's a time waste reporting this error. Better luck next time.
