Can we change back mage 72 staff range back to normal? Its pretty dumb right now cause no one plays mages really except in CSW and in CSW they use novas not staff. So except nerfing novas they nerf staff range. A nerf to the damage I would have been okay with, but a mages range is its way to survive.

Try to fight any other class with a mage right now you will lose 100% 1v1. Don't be like "ohh you need to know how to play or I beat everyone with mage you just need to know how." Thats not how it is anymore. Server is full of archers and sins you get assassinated without escape from 2 sins or one.

Only the fire staff got that range due to it's ridiculous dmg, i can basicly solo an int priest sometimes after a parasite which is ridiculous, as a sin i got no freaking chance for that.
Before, with 2-3 fire mages we raped the shit out of every1 even before they could reach us, it's just unfair not to mention the lvl 85 single and 83 aoe skills that has increadibly long ranges and gg dmgs aswell. Furthermore, a mage party who were sliding like hell around their priests were basicly impossible to even touch and they could keep attacking due to their immense ranges and spamm 1,3k on every1. Fire mages needed that nerf, they were simply godlike.

---> Ice- Light mages on the other hand got the old ranges now too, so it's fine imo you can go light if you wanna attack from far, that still deals decent amount of dmgs, like 800-->1000ish from far, stuns + cancel heals and able to blink too.

1. if you think mage is now terrible only because the staff skill range has been lowered, then you should change class. mage is not only made to attack, its made to be support too.
2. I havnt tested mage since it been nerfed, but when I will test it when i'll have a new computer, i'll let you know my opinion about it.
3. the fact that they made staff skill shorter range could have made sliding a bit less overpower, and thats good. Me and zeus alone were duoing any priest ingame... and thats not supose to happend.

As the 2 guys said above mostly.

Btw it's still under testing, so we might will actually raise the range a little yet, but it won't be as big as it used to be (It was like 2x the range of malee classes), that simply were unfair considering the dmgs + rest of fire mage's abilities.

(Also as 1 of them said, the light mage has the old 72 range in order to encourage ppl to play that1 too, so it's your call if you wanna hit like a truck and sacrifice some range or blinking + hitting abit less but from bigger distances)

PS.: Server is nowhere near full of archers and sins, if anything when there are alot of ppl at cz 70-80% are still int priests + warriors or mages. But ye there are some finally now, not like ~5 weeks ago when they were just helpless against 25-50 dd shield + maces and were spiking like 400.
