First of all there are plenty of ways to Build ur mage. 1.I will go first with the type I like playing most. -51 strength -255 mp 175 int Pros: Even If u go for an INT set u will loose like less than 1k HP compared to the full HP mages , but ur goin to gain lots of more defence. U also aint loosing any power for killing since u still have the 255 mp which is pretty fair. And with the 51 str ur able to use a Chitin shield which makes u very tank especially vs warriors. Pholus doesnt require stat points - which could also be helpful vs archers or maybe sins addin 150 def. Cons : Ur still favourite target of sins the CS doesnt have dagger defence neither does the Pholus. Beein dbed sins can take u easy. 2.If u wanna be more tanky for PK , but loose some power I suggest this build. -91 str -175 int -216 MP Pros : This build makes u more versatile in PK , since with the 91 str and 175 INT u can switch to T shield and any mace. Cons : U will be loosin some of ur power it aint a huge difference but in KS it might does a difference. The T shield might be a better overall shield if more classes on u , but u warriors gonna hit u more again ( this one might be easy to counter if warriors on u , just put a c shield back on). 3.You can also switch to a full support mage. -175 int -91 str -198 hp ( not sure if this stat is fine can be more/less hp) Pros : U will have lots of HP including ur defence and also goin with a mace. Which will make u really hard to kill and if ur tankin more parties in a Luring game this can be really helpful. Cons : Ur able only to support and not attack since u loose most of ur AP and wont be even able to use a staff like this. 4. There is also an HP mage. -255 mp -177 hp Pros: Compared to the other builts , this built is best for mage fights. Cons: This type of mage is actually only good for mages , n thats it. If u wanna pk in cz i would suggest other builts otherwise u will die very easy. I hope this will help u building ur mage. And I know u can build ur mage in other ways too , but these 4 are the most used and best IMO. |

hmm. Thats a good guide. I've been using mp set mage to both attack and support since the beginning I played mage(exept on low level servers). Never had any problem. But a lot of mages play like warriors here, so yeah. If you wanna learn to survive, go paper mage. then later, use int mage set. ppl gonna cry about you. And so far, sins are not that bad. yeah, since they boosted sins, I gotta call them op, mostly when 80% of the rogues on this server use pedals. Just learn to deal with them. |
