MAGE PARTY MAJOR GUIDE


**Read the section your part of !**

Part 1 : Party build selection

2 Priest (1 Debuff , 1 Buff) - 6 mages
Positive points :
- Mages are able to tank melees if the priests know what their doing

Negative points :
- Harder to kill players with novas

__________________________________

1 priest (1 buff) - 7 mages
Positive points :
- Total damage dealth by mages novas can easily kill any melee party if it's played right

Negative points :
- Harder to survive


Part 2a : Mage build (stats)

Str : 51 -------- Dex : 70 -------- Int : 160 -------- HP : 66 -------- MP : 255
Positive points :
- Tanky to all melee classes (warrior, sins, archers, bp)
- Has more resistance

Negative points :
- Easily killed by other mage parties

__________________________________

Str : 51 -------- Dex : 70 -------- Int : 70 -------- HP : 156 -------- MP : 255
Positive points :
- In the strongest build to go against mage parties

Negative points :
- Vulnerable to all melee classes

__________________________________

Str : 51 -------- Dex : 70 -------- Int : 112 -------- HP : 114 -------- MP : 255
Positive points :
- In the strongest build to go against mage parties
- Can tank assassins using chaotic/scorching staffs

Negative points :
- Most expensive build (required chaos staff)
- Weaker to warriors


Part 2b : Priest build (stats)

Str : 126 -------- Dex : 70 -------- Int : 208 -------- HP : 148 -------- MP : 50
General point :
- Average priest build for any class, should be used at any case

Str : 91 -------- Dex : 70 -------- Int : 136 -------- HP : 255 -------- MP : 50
General point :
- Alternate priest build, good against mage due to high HP cap


Part 3a : Mage build (skills)

Flame : 70 -------- Lightning : 80 -------- Glacier : 0 -------- Master : 2
Note : Usually used by every mages in the party (including commander)
Positive points :
- Has 4 novas (total over 40k damage if everyone drop all of their possible novas
- Has the ability to use blink (descent)
- Everyone has lightning staff/novas (really high stun rate overall)
- Don't need much coordinations (easier for beginner)

Negative points :
- Easily killed by any classes due to no -15% master skill
- Has no single target skills that is worth using
- Has no resistance boost skills that are worth using (since every weapons has flame bonus on them)

__________________________________

Flame : 85 -------- Lightning : 44 -------- Glacier : 0 -------- Master : 23
Note : Used by the followers
Positive points :
- Strong single target skills
- Super high staff damage
- Infinite range nova (23 master)
- Has Flame resistance (helps against all classes)
- A lot more tanky then the previous build
- Has minor resist (negate any resistance boost, witch means higher damage)

Negative points :
- Has no effective stun skills
- Doesn't have blink to save yourself
- Only have 3 novas

Flame : 0 -------- Lightning : 85 -------- Glacier : 44 -------- Master : 23
Note : Used by the commander
Positive points :
- Strong single target skills
- Has many stun skills
- Infinite range nova (23 master)
- Can use blink to save yourself when it's needed
- Have lightning resist incane opponents use lightning novas (stuns)

Negative points :
- Low damage novas
- Only have 3 novas


Part 3b : Priest build (skills)

Heal : 75 -------- Aura : 70 -------- Debuff : 0 -------- Master : 7
Note : At least 1 in the party is highly recommended. Your the hope of your party.
Positive points :
- Has party cure
- Has 3 party heal (10k , 3k , 2.5k)
- Has undying (if your a really good priest)

Negative points :
- None( this class is required in a mage party)

__________________________________

Heal : 60 -------- Aura : 0 -------- Debuff : 85 -------- Master : 5
Note : Optionnal
Positive points :
- Has subside (help your party to survive)
- Has a ''group parasite'' (help your party to kill while novaing)

Negative points :
- None


Part 4 : Overall notes

Commander :
- Highly suggested to have a shield to be able to survive longer then other if your getting attacked
- Having a short word as a nova timing (Click , Now , Bas)
- Observe the killing feed, and learn CZ by the coordinations. So you know where the kills are being made
- Always call the targets, and if anybody speaks above you, take mesures (exept priests, will explain bellow)
- Get more gear then everyone, be the most geared mage in your team, so you know you can survive longer then others
-Remind your followers to use resistences bonus skills and your absolute power skill (fr/lr/2 master)

Followers (other mages) :
- Learn to use w + r .. Click on the commander, hold W and spam R to be able to be on his A$$ 24/7
- Learn the difference between the range of level 60 and 70 nova
- Try to follow the targets has much as possible
- Always drop a nova with the timing the commanding give, if your behind and he calls 3 ... 2 ... 1 ... nova, dont get close just to drop lvl 70 nova, simply drop the level 60 nova
- Delete ''Past Recovery'' as often as possible, needs to be a spammable skill

Priests (buffer) :
- Be quick on cures, priorise cures over heals. (exept if heals are already incomming)
- Keep an eye on the debuffer on the opponent side, if you see he starts a debuff, already start pre-curing
- Tell when to delete Past Recovery (lvl75 heal) to your mages, so they are aware that it's on
- Communicate with the 2nd priest to call who drop the first 10k (when it applies)

Priests (debuffer) :
- Have subside up as much as possible
- Use ''Group parasite'' when the commander is at ''1'' in your countdown, so the opponent get parasited right before they get hit by novas
- Keep the priests parasited as much as possible
- NEVER EVER USE TORMENT, TORMENT DON'T AFFECT MAGE DAMAGE

Party-Wise :
- Have the commander as the party leader (makes following easier)
- Have the priests at the end of the party (makes teleporting easier)
- Only the commander teleport the players that are dead
- Have a set player that will teleport the commander if he dies

I decided to share a guide about archer after you did this for mages.

1- Create an archer character.
2- Give 255 dex , rest HP
3- Farm some exp till you get max. level (Its 85 for MaxKO)
4- Buy a bow
5- Buy armors and accesories
6- Watch my movies
7- Get a flight ticket to Turkey
8- Join my archer classes
9- Pay me 50$ for each class (It depends on you how many classes you will be need)
10- You are ready!

Since i have no idea on mages, I'll skip to the priest parts and have 2 quick questions here:

Missing master 10 skill is not considered a negative point? I think it matters a lot to survive. If pri is dead = others dead. Simple. Don't you think?

The 10 dex was primal when i created the char, keep dex as low as possible.

Difference between 5 master and 10 master is only 5% priority should be heal before tank. Your a mage party, you die, you simply get tp back and move on. Mage party well played should never go back to town, exept if their killed by another mage party.

Mage party logic : Die more then melee, aim for big kill feeds. i’ll send you some vids once I get home.
