 Post subject: Debuffer Priest & Mage reflection

First I thought it would be nice to give the priest a skill for one person only to stun...

I thought it would be a lovely addition to a debuffer.


Second... I noticed some belts or earrings don't have staff protection. I only checked IB it gives 20 against everything except mage power. Problem is if you take other belt you don't have protection against other weapons. I think there should be at least one belt that has equal defense against every weapons.

My pennies worth of thought.

About the belt thingy: We've got a CSW belt which gives 25 anti def against every weapons + 20-20-20 resists against mages aswell. And i guess its more than enough.
From this point, you can raise your HP or Resists, but then you will lose def / anti def. And its good like that, cuz you have to risk something in exchange for raising your resists.



About the Duffer -stunn skill suggestion:

Idk how did you imagine the skill's succes rate. But i guess in your head it was 100%, since malice and every duff has 100% chance to success aswell.
Like that it would be an insane skill.....
Furthermore i guess KO characters are pretty balanced, every1 has his own function in PK, and it's good the way it is.
Stunning ppl belong to mages, it isn't a priest's job.
If we'd change things like that, we could easily merge all class's ability in 1, which would be a pretty pointless step.

So -1 from me for both of your suggestions.

Alright but you first have to get a CSW belt while all other belts which have the stats are gotten by votes. That's still not completely fair.

I think it's a great decision. Why shouldn't it be so cause mages have that ability? That's not a reason why you shouldn't add it to debuffer priest. That's just a deflection of the idea cause according to another character it already excists. That's not an argument why not to do it, that's just getting one's mind of the ball(idea) to make this a skill for a debuffer priest.

1) i agree that there should be belt that gives protection from mages, but not belt that gives protection from everything at the same time. make 2 belts, so ppl have to switch, part of the skill eh? :) csw belt is not good comparison cause you have to win it. and after expansion its gonna last for 1 week. so!: iron belt=against meles! whatnot belt=against mages! csw belt=win it and you have both! sounds good...eh?

2) support priest stunning? hell no! why? simple...cause he is support! every other attacker class has stun abilities (rogue archers have ice/light arrows, sins have that skill that stun dont know its name, warrior has leg cut/scream/shock stun...mage well self explanatory....)., maybe to make something for BP...but just maybe...


about success rate, it sucks now cause of the server files. lets see what happens after expansion ;) then we all can bitch about it as much as we want... :mrgreen:

I understand concern of stun for priest. It was just an idea. I think I'll leave the idea behind and adjust to it. Anyway stun rates atm for other jobs are kinda lame while a entire mage party it's stun rate is to huge. :/
