Please create option on website to change to 4th, 5th, 6th character slot.
This was project on old site I had suggested and was BIG hit with everyone. Please try this out... took less than 1 day to create.

No video or screenshot available... I am looking for this entire database to actually put the hard code up for servers... (most of my ideas, were put to use on an older server and worked). Basically, you must be logged out.. there's an option when you login to the site to change your 1st, 2nd, 3rd character with a 4th, 5th, or 6th. It's really not that complicated? (Same with multiple Inn's) (If I ever find it, I will give credit where credit is due and share.) (PS, don't wait on me... gogogo make it your own maxko!)

I think I know what you mean. You have your 3 main characters and you have 2 sidekicks (if you can call it like that). You can change / replace your characters thru panel.
You create 5 characters in total, but only use 3. (swapping characters from 1st/2nd or 3rd slot with 4th or 5th slot.)

This is possible and easy to implement. But can you give some arguments why this would be an addon on our server?
the only argument I can think of is to have 5 characters on 1 account, but you can only use 3 (btw: it will cost you VP's or NP's to swap characters) so idk if many ppl will use it. It sure will reduce the multiple accounts that aren't allowed tho

I think first thing would be that no other server out right now would have it. I think that a DCZ should be enabled and you should be allowed more than 1 nation per account... 3 orc & 3 human per 1 login. It should be a one time cost of VP or KC to "enable" it. Charging per each switch would be kind of ridiculous . More like $5 or $10 usd would be ideal for this option. (The less people that use it, the lower the price?) Your right it would reduce multiple accounts for people that play multiple characters such as myself I am fairly well at every class and would like to switch off... but that's just me. I dont think it would hurt any to implement this (as well as the multi-inn suggestion.).

Then I sure have to think on how we can implement that. 5 characters is easy and not hard. But as you say 3 Humans and 3 orcs... That's a different story.

Because your primary key lays on the character name, and what you are suggesting it that you change 20% of the database stucture and server coding to enable this (we need a combined primary key then).
atm I can think of a workaround. But the server will have to be recoded. wich won't be easy.

Olso, 1 account 2 nations is a bad idea in my opinion. The server will NEVER get balanced again. war lost...? wth, just change character (not account).

I think it's best if you want to carry out this suggestion, to just stick with the character expansion. And buy your expansion... 1 time only
I'll work around this later on tomorrw because I REALLY think this is a good and an easy achievable idea.
