As the title says it: The forum deadlock investigation has ended. What is a deadlock? Well wikipedia gives us the perfect answer: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deadlock wrote: A deadlock is a situation where in two or more competing actions are each waiting for the other to finish, and thus neither ever does. This means that you can receive a 'deadlock' page from time to time. This olso means that it slows down the forum if alot of members are online on the forum.After intensive investigation in who / when and what causes this, we found the sollution. The forum will be faster now if there are alot of members online. But it is possible that you get a 'deadlock' page. But this should be verry rare. As an outcome of the investigation, we olso had a few deadlocks on our gameservers. This was leading in a 'login problem', that we fixed along with it. Since we runned the investigation 48 hours longer then planned, we didn't recieved any problems anymore. Basicley, the server should be online more often.
