From experience you need about 16 people minimum to kill Ja'rod. I think 13 drainers is minimum. 1-2 priest per party.
There are 3 caves inside the questzone.
1st cave is Duras=drops 2 sword of Duras. 1 SOD=1 party can enter 2nd cave.
2nd cave is Toral= drops 2 sword of Toral. 1 SOT= 1 party can enter 3rd cave.
3rd cave is Ja'rod=drops 3 medal of kahless.
Each boss is about 55 minute respawn, so you wont go to last cave your first try, if you do chances are only 3 with get medal that try, it takes so long most will leave and you won't have the ap to kill it twice. Don't get discouraged. This takes time and it means many people will need to stay focused and not go afk for hours at a time.
1. Make sure everyone agree's to help until EVERYONE gets a medal, you will not all get medal right away(Ja'rod drops 3 at a time, 55 minute respawn).
2. Set a time to do quest, same time daily.
3. Have everyone farm dragon marbles: 20 marbles= 1 party can enter questzone.
4. Make alternate characters on the account you want Kahless on. Archers with 2 drains(if u know archer combo) are best, otherwise use a sin/warrior. This way you can all leave chars inside cave and play regular chars when your not doing quest. you can use your main char, but you will need to leave it inside cave for days, you wont be able to pk with it. If you all take main characters and leave the cave you will need to farm dragon marbles all over again.
5. Swords must be held by party leaders to go on to next cave.
6. Appoint 1 person to count for drains. 3..2..1..DRAIN all drain at same time!
7. Decide a drop order list! Make sure the list is followed or you will lose people from frustration. When you get to Ja'rod the 1st 3 to get medal will be in the same party 1,2,3 on party list and ONLY that party will drain Ja'rod 1st! Make sure everyone else stands back!
8. Have fun, this is a difficult quest because it takes cooperation from so many people over time. The result is worth it, the medal is by far the best item ingame.
