It took us a while to decide about the stats of Chaos Weapons.
But finally here they are:

I know that some of you will not be happy with it.
Cause you where expecting stats like the old Chaos weapons on maxko.

But since the wipe in 2016 we brought all stats down a bit and we want to keep it like this.
So if we bring a new weapon, it will add some variety but should not outmatch the existing weapons.

We didnt want to make our colored Tiers useless,
and we want to keep the value of color gems and Killing Race event!

Thats why we increased most of the color Bonuses,
and thats why we kept the stats of Chaos Weapons in balance with the Tiers.

Chaos Weapons got a little less AP but higher HP Bonus.
So now you have a choice!

Its just bad for the people that ran to the NPC on the first days, spending the 300k NP and expecting old Chaos stats...
I hope those people will understand, why we kept the stats lower.

I started this topic to give you some room for complaints and suggestions about the new weapons. We might still consider some adjustments in the future.

Stats are great to make items not over powered, but you guys took away some essential stats from the chaos mace that make a mace good for priest in the first place. I bought cmace originally because it had 150 defense, 11 dagger, 21 club, 21 bow so it was almost as good as a black mace, but now you guys dropped defense to 100 and took defense weapons off, and it simply sucks archers where always a problem for priest and even with the added hp bonus taking away defense arrow is a big difference.

Thank you for your feedback.

I am sorry for the incovnience were caused by the changes of the c weapons , but we decided to do this changes for a better and more flexible gameplay.

I play myself as a priest , and I understand that archers are pain during gameplay , especially for priest.

Yet this way we made for people have choices , cause there is one mace which is actually better vs archers and sins.

On the other hand there is a mace which is better vs warriors / mages .

Like this you can be more flexible and change maces.(this used to be with hero / c mace in old maxko the case)


Same goes for other classes :

Warrior weapons :

Axe :

More damage , less range for PK , its good in VS but is sensible vs S Combo.

Spear :

Less damage , more range in PK , its not best in VS but best in chasing enemies.

Sword :

Usual 2.0 range , solid dmg and also has the chaos weapons HP Boost.
It makes a very solid weapon for VS and PK balancing it in both ways.

Additionally the flame dmgs are also a boost to the chaos weapons.


C staff :

We finally have a good 2 handed staff with good elemental damages (its better than any other staff 2 handed)
Debatable with scorching staff since it has d defence

C Dagger :

The dmg is quite okay , in paper it seems to have less AP , but it quite balances the AP with the flame DMG. ( r attacks )

also the HP/mp boost is quite good for the mana of the sins makes them longer to survive.

C Bow :

Quite the same as mentioned in the dagger.
The Flame makes the arrow shower a bit better, but looses some ap on basic skill attacks.


And FINALLY to the beloved mace of ours!:)

C MACE :

The mace gives you no weapon defence , but it gives u a good HP/MP boost.

Comparing to the T mace , we know that both maces do not have Sword defence / axe / spear.

If you look vs warriors / mages then the C mace is actually quite good IMO even better.

Yet the Black Mace is superior to rogues.

And this makes you flexible in gameplay and IMO makes also the gaming market interesting and not every player predictable in PK.

well explained by Tyson :!:

I hope that the 800HP/ 800MP Bonus compensates for the missing wep defense on the C Mace. We didnt test that in depth. But if you have the feeling that C Mace is to weak, we might increase its stats.

Just wanna add two small things that people might have overlooked.
We added 10 more Arrow defense to the T Shield ;)
We reduced elemental dmg from TBow/CBow slightly.

To be honest anduin chaos mace never had weapons defenses, it had 2k hp bonus and 150 def. The one that had anti dagger,club,arrow was hero mace so imo the actual c mace is far enought good considering the actual stats on the server.

So we have the first balancing changes on Chaos weapons:

1. Chaos Sword +20 int Bonus. Will make it a good choice for Battle Priests.
2. Chaos Dagger 500 mana bonus (was 250 before).
So now it got 500 HP and 500 MP bonus.

A chaos weapon costs a lot, so if you wanna buy one you will keep it as you main weapon and not as a secondary weapon to use vs mages .. So i think that you can try to add some weapon defence so it will worth ots price.

I wanna see your opinions too as a priest.

So why not give players the options to choose between different options?
A Chaos Mace when you need that HP/MP Bonus and a black T Mace when you want that xtra defense.

I find it boring when there is only 1x best choice and everyone is using the same gear.

I am gonna agree with you in the different options point, but black mace doesn't even cost half of a chaos mace price.. maybe you can try to add more defence or more hp-mp on the chaos mace so it's gonna really worth its price, it seems pretty good like how it is now but i am waiting for more players to say something about that, so we can see all opinions and go to the result.
